Hird is one the UK’s leading hire companies, specialising in Glass Lifting, mini crane hire and powered access hire.

matm were asked to develop a website for Hird to demonstrate their broad range of expertise and products on a web platform that could allow them to easily add new products and services.

The matm solution incorporated our bespoke template design and code with a responsive design template suitable for viewing on mobiles and tablets

Some other great features were developed for Hird:

• Bespoke specification table design allowing Hird to add the details of their many (and varied) products
• Pre-owned database where Hird can showcase their second hand and ex hire fleet stock – visitors can filter product types at the click of a mouse
• An “online account” form that allows customers to apply for an account at any time of the day or night – it even captures their signature securely in back of the database.
• Web tracking service to help get a clearer insight into its visitors. This powerful addition allow them to identify a number of their web visitors by location and track their visits – where they’ve visited and how long they’ve been on the site

Following launch Hird asked matm to use the infrastructure to develop sites for two of its UK distributorships – Winlet Glazing Robots and Manitex Valla Pick and Carry mini cranes.
