matm was founded with support from a Prince’s Trust grant and a simple aim: to provide honest, practical marketing support for organisations that want to do things properly.
In 2001, we moved into the Maws Centre,
joining a community of creative businesses
in the Ironbridge Gorge.

Delivered exhibition stand design and installation across Europe for NewsEdge Corporation, part of Thomson Corporation.
Supported Motorola’s new handset launches through its partnership with Vodafone.
2004

Developed DEREK, our management information system, tracking projects from brief to invoice.
Still used today.
Delivered our first project for a UK hospice.
Today, we support hospices nationwide with design, print and web services.

Developed and implemented the new brand architecture for Lavendon plc,
Europe’s largest access rental company.
Began working with the NHS. Since then, we have supported trusts across a range of disciplines.

Became a print partner of Telford & Wrekin Council following a successful tender process.
Appointed brand and communications partner for the launch of local Healthwatch.

Since 2014, we’ve been based in town centre offices in Telford, Shropshire.

Took on our first apprentice, who remains

Supported one of the UK’s largest rental depot launches with signage, impact graphics
and event support.

Supported the Knife Angel’s arrival in Telford, working closely with the council and other partners
In 2025, our marketing support has grown to span five continents, delivering content in 17 languages to over 70 countries worldwide.

Partnered with local charity ABT, providing pro bono design support to raise awareness of recovery and mental health services in Telford.
